Bring your home to life with Q Smart
Hi Insiders!
Hope you are enjoying your awesome Samsung experience!
So Samsung introduced Q Smart to your QLED TV.
What exactly is Q Smart?
Let us give you a quick brief.
Q Smart
Artificial intelligence is on the rise, and it’s in your TV! Create a high-tech, voice activated ecosystem in your house by installing the SmartThings app on various devices to connect to the SmartThings cloud.
Say goodbye to the tedious walk to the remote, tell your TV to turn on!
SmartThings also isn’t limited to Samsung products, you’re welcome to work with any brand as long as they adhere with their open source standard IOT protocol. However, in Australia, it’s currently only open to compatible Samsung products.
Out of the Box experience
Download the SmartThings App to your mobile device to facilitate a smoother set-up for youw new Samsung TV. Just "CONNECT" when Bluetooth auto-detects the TV for a pop-up to appear on your phone, then just follow the steps on your mobile device for a simplified set-up process!
Effortless log in
With the SmartThings app, all of the apps you have on your mobile device can now be loaded onto the main Smart Hub menu screen. No more adding each app individually; no more slow and tedious entry of user names and passwords. The addition of each app is in your control.
SmartThings App
The SmartThings app is a lot more than your little helper when setting up your TV. It, and your mobile device, are the gateway to controlling your home. Interact with your IOT devices via SmartThings Dashboard as seen below.
What can you control around the house do you ask? Here's some ideas:
- Refrigerator: Power/ Door open/ Inside cam
- Airconditioner: Power/ Temperature
- Robot Vacuum: Power/ Waiting/ Cleaning/ Charging/ Paused
- Washer: Power/ Ready/ Paused/ Remaining time
- Speaker: Play/ Choose song title
- TV: Power/ Contents
We appreciate everyone's contributions so far, we're keen to hear what you think about the SmartThings experience in your reviews!
